Product Details
A Jumbo Rocker and Climbing Arch in One
The Avenlur Banyan is an oversized wooden rocker that flips into a climbing arch. Set it one way and kids rock, sway and balance like they're on a ship at sea. Flip it over and it becomes a sturdy arch to climb, crawl under and turn into a bridge or tunnel. At almost 4 feet long, it fits up to four kids at once, indoors or out.
Why Families Choose the Banyan
Two toys in one: A rocking boat on one side and a climbing arch on the other.
Jumbo size: 46 x 38.6 inches, with room for siblings and friends to play together.
Indoor or outdoor: Use it in the playroom or out on the lawn on any level surface.
Builds gross motor skills: Rocking and climbing build balance, core strength and coordination.
Tested to ASTM and CPSIA standards: Solid wood with a smooth finish.
Open-Ended Play That Grows With Them
The Banyan doesn't tell kids how to play. One minute it's a seesaw, the next it's an island, a bridge, a mountain or a ship in a storm. That kind of open-ended, child-led play is at the heart of Montessori, and it keeps the Banyan interesting from the toddler years well into childhood.
Build a Complete Play Space
Pair the Banyan with our Pikler triangles, arches and rockers, the Majesty balance beam and stepping stones, or other gross motor toys for little kids for a full obstacle course. For bigger backyard play, see our outdoor playsets.
