Picture your little one giggling as they swing gently in the middle of the living room. The Spruce is a foldable wooden baby swing with its own stand, so there's no ceiling hook or doorway mount to install. It combines Montessori-inspired design, natural pine and child-safe finishes, and folds flat when you need the space back.

A Freestanding Baby Swing for Any Room

Most indoor baby swings need a doorway bar or ceiling hook. The Spruce brings its own sturdy wooden stand, so you can set it up in the living room, nursery or playroom in about 10 minutes, move it wherever you are, and fold it away when you're done.

Thoughtful Materials

The Spruce is built from sturdy pine, sanded smooth with rounded edges and coated in non-toxic, child-safe finishes. Unlike many swings that rely on thin metal tubing and synthetic fabric seats, its clean, simple design looks at home in any room. Choose from beige, gray or blue stripes.

Grows With Your Child

Designed for children from 6 months to 3 years, up to 33 pounds, the Spruce goes from gentle first swings for babies to independent swinging for toddlers.

Developmental Benefits

Swinging stimulates the vestibular system, which governs balance and spatial awareness, and helps build coordination and core strength. In line with Montessori principles, it gives toddlers a way to enjoy movement and play independently.

Using the Spruce Safely

The Spruce is for indoor use and for babies who can hold their head steady. Always stay with your child while they swing, keep the area around the swing clear, and stay within the 33 pound weight limit. If your baby falls asleep, move them to a crib or bassinet, since swings aren't designed for sleep.

Complete the Set

Add the Spruce tent cover to turn the frame into a cozy hideaway, or a hammock swing for older toddlers. Each is sold separately.
