Accessories for Outdoor Swing Sets and Climbers

The cheapest way to get more out of a swing set is rarely a new swing set. A different seat, a slide attachment or a tent cover changes how a frame gets used, usually for a small fraction of the price of replacing it.

Everything here is sold separately from the frame. Each product page lists the sets it fits, so check your model before ordering.

Swing Seats by Age

A bucket seat with a harness is for babies and young toddlers, from around six months once head control is established. Enclosed sides and a strap mean a child can swing before they can reliably hold on.

A belt seat takes over from about three, when a child grips properly and wants to pump their own legs.

A fabric or sensory swing gives spin and sway rather than a straight arc, which many children find calming, and it suits sensory seeking play outdoors as well as in.

Seats are usually interchangeable on the same frame, so one set can carry a bucket seat now and a belt seat in two years.

Slides, Monkey Bars and Climbing Add Ons

A slide attachment turns a swing frame into a playset, and monkey bars extend the useful age of a set by years. Both bolt onto the existing structure, so check the model and size before ordering, as attachments are built for particular frames rather than universal.

Tent Covers and Mats

A canvas cover turns a climbing frame into a den or a fort, which is a completely different kind of play and often takes over for a season. Mats give a softer landing under indoor and covered outdoor frames, and ours are cut to fit specific sets rather than sold as generic rectangles.

Before You Order

  • Know your frame: Model name and size answer nearly every compatibility question.

  • Check hanging height: Seats need enough clearance beneath them, which differs between a bucket seat and a belt seat.

  • Mind the fall zone: Adding a swing or a slide changes how much clear space the set needs around it.

  • Check hardware yearly: Ropes, chains and S hooks wear outdoors and are worth inspecting each season.

  • Ask if unsure: Call 888-697-3931 and we will confirm what fits your frame.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these swing seats fit any swing set?

Our seats fit Avenlur frames and most standard swing sets with a comparable beam height. Check the hanging hardware and clearance on the product page against your frame.

What age is a bucket swing seat for?

From around six months with a harness and established head control, through to about three, when a belt seat usually takes over.

Is the swing set included?

No. Everything in this collection is sold separately from the frame, as stated on each product page.

Can I add a slide to a swing set I already own?

On some frames, yes. Slide attachments are built for particular models, so check compatibility on the product page or call us with the model name.

How often should I replace ropes and chains?

Inspect them each season and replace anything frayed, rusted or stiff. Outdoor hardware wears faster than indoor.

Do accessories need tools?

Swing seats and tent covers usually need none. Slide and monkey bar attachments bolt on
