Love this playpen, it’s very well made, non toxic and the side panels make it feel like a fun place to be rather than a contained space. All of our children, not just the baby, love playing with the side panels in it. It was pretty easy to assemble; one of the panels was too large to fit into the connector but sanding it down a bit fixed the problem. Overall I’d recommend.

Love this playpen, it’s very well made, non toxic and the side panels make it feel like a fun place to be rather than a contained space. We absolutely love our new playpen. I wanted it to look clean and match our home aesthetic but also be developmentally friendly as our son grows. It’s been the perfect place for him to hangout when I need to get stuff done. It also fits both of us comfortably when I play with him. He loves to play in there and has loved being able to use the bars to learn to stand. He has just discovered the gate and loves to go in and out while I have it open.

Several of the edges on the Montessori pieces are not sanded completely and therefore very rough. This left my 7-month old with scrapes on his face and his ankles that took days to heal - all within his first 24 hours of play. Despite my reporting this to Avenlur immediately, and being told this issue was being escalated, I never heard back from customer service to address this with them. Deeply disappointed given the price I paid for this. Currently covering up the Montessori pieces with towels, which is awesome in my living room! Wish I’d gone for a plain playpen for less.

Almost perfect, but when configured as a square the panels that connect with each other (non corners) don't lock in the straight position, they can pushed in and out and the connection serves as a hinge. That coupled with the fact that a 63"x63" rigid foam mat or tiles aren't sold means the playpen shifts all over, and my baby won't be able to safely pull up on it because when she pulls the walls slide towards her. Otherwise, she loves the toys on the walls.

Only improvement would be if you sold a floor mat that went with it. We had to buy one separately and it was a few inches short on one end so had to put together a makeshift filler. I want to give it 5 stars, the wood is great quality, it was easy to set up, our little one loves the mirror and bar. First concern is the rainbow bead slider seems super flimsy, it's already completely bent (after about 3 weeks) and I'm nervous it will break and he could choke on the beads. We're considering cutting it off, but worried it wouldn't be flush enough to not cut him... The wood in a few areas was unfinished and caused a couple splinters, it was easy to sand down, but a bit frustrating to have to do so. The sizing made it hard to find a mat that fits inside and doesn't leave gaps for him to trip over or for the playpen to slide if he's standing up on it. Maybe a good opportunity for you to sell corresponding mats to go with it? Overall it keeps him entertained and safe, but just a couple concerns, especially for the price point.
