Accessories for Baby Gear

Most of what changes how baby equipment gets used costs a fraction of the equipment itself. A different swing seat extends a frame by two years. A mat makes a hard floor usable. A canopy turns a bouncer into somewhere shaded to nap.

Swing Seats

A bucket seat with a harness and back support is for babies from around six months, once head control is established. It lets a baby swing safely before they can hold on reliably.

Fabric and cloth seats suit the same stage and pack away smaller. Around three, once a child grips properly and wants to pump their own legs, an open belt seat takes over. Seats are usually interchangeable on the same frame, so one swing set covers both stages.

Mats

A padded mat is the cheapest safety improvement you can make on a hard floor, and the difference is most obvious under a play yard where a baby spends hours. Ours are shaped for specific products rather than sold as generic rectangles, so there is a mat cut for the play yards, the swing frames and each of the climbing sets.

Tent Covers and Cushions

A canopy over a bouncer or a climbing frame gives shade, a sense of enclosure and somewhere quieter to be, which some babies settle in far better than an open room. Cushions add padding to wooden rockers and seats, and both come off for washing.
